Who we are

This website and its books are provided by Township Pulse, trading as Dr. Schuppert Press ("we", "us"). When you use the site or buy from us, your agreement is with Township Pulse, trading as Dr. Schuppert Press. By continuing to use the site you agree to these terms.

What we offer

Bilingual children's books by Dr. Schuppert as eBooks (PDF, read online or downloaded from My Books) plus free samples and learning activities.

Your account

You must give accurate information, keep your login details private, and are responsible for activity on your account. If you use the site for an organisation you confirm you may act for it; children should use the site with a parent or guardian.

Acceptable use

• No unlawful, fraudulent or abusive use, and no spam.
• No copying, sharing, reselling or redistributing our books, illustrations or text, and no infringement of anyone's intellectual property.
• No interfering with the site's security: no malware, probing, scraping or getting around technical limits.

Intellectual property and licence

We keep all rights in the site, the books, illustrations, software and branding. Buying an eBook gives you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to read it for private, household or classroom use.

All-Books Membership

The membership (R149 a month) lets you read every eBook online while it is active. It renews automatically each month until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from the Membership page; you keep access until the end of the period you've paid for. Members can read online; downloading PDFs is only for books bought individually.

Payments

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. Payment, billing, tax and refund terms are set out in Paddle's Buyer Terms. Printed books may be paid through a separate payment link shown at checkout. See also our Refund Policy.

Service

We work hard to keep the site running, but we don't guarantee it will always be available or error-free. To the fullest extent the law allows, the site is provided "as is" without implied warranties, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses. Our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the previous 12 months. Nothing here limits liability for fraud, death or personal injury where the law does not allow it.

Suspension and termination

We may suspend or close access for a serious breach of these terms, non-payment, fraud or security risk, or repeated policy violations. If your account closes, you may ask us to export or delete your data.

General

These terms are governed by the laws of South Africa. We're not responsible for delays caused by events beyond our reasonable control. You may not transfer your account without our consent. Questions: drschuppert@gmail.com.
